Residency #166 Welcome Reception

The Atlantic Center for the Arts is famous for their artist in residency programs where master artist are invited to live at the center and teach the secrets of their talent to inspiring artists.

This reception will be help to welcome Jennifer Monson, choreographer, Zeena Parkins, composer, Mitchell S. Jackson, writer.

The masters will be in the ACA studios for three weeks.

“Tape Art 2017”

Tape art can range from a variety of adhesive materials. These artists create work that can be gratifyingly urban to intricately sculptural.

With an installation piece by  Jay Walker Studio

*Jay will also be teaching the Jay Walker Tape Art Workshop on Saturday, June 17th from 10am-12pm at the Museum.

Join us for rotating workshops taught by local artists and create your own work with professional guidance during open art nights. This is a live art studio with new, real life art projects every month. Space is limited, please contact us for information on themes and availability.

Our art studio is a mature artist environment with materials that may be harmful to the user. Children must be enrolled in a class or accompanied  by an adult to use the member materials in the art room.

Parents, please fill out a young artist registration form if your child is visiting our studio for the first time.

Mask Making Party w/ LER

Frame of Mind Art Studio is happy to have the members of Last Electric Rodeo in an exclusive meet n’ greet, creative affair.

Last Electric Rodeo will be performing disguised as mutant animals in a Mutant Luau at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub, March 17th.

They invite their fans to do the same. Join us in our art studio to create your mutant animal mask. This event is open to the public, and all we ask is for a donation to cover supplies. You may bring your own crafts as well.

There will be a special prize for the most creative mask at the Luau on the 17th.
