This laser cut record was floated in a shadowbox as an artistic display. The designer turned the frame on its side to easily create a new look mimicking the diamond logo cut into the record. The shapes were expanded with subtle analogous toned matting layered beneath the record. We love to get down to the nitty gritty details, so a spacer, used to lift the glass from the surface of the record, was added into the lip of the frame. The color chosen brings forth the darker tones in the logo and defines the line work.
